At the slope of the mountain leading to the Souda beach, at the area of Sellia village, we constructed a modern complex of touristic apartments with swimming pools.
The geotechnical study of the plot, the structural design and the rest technical studies were executed by our Team, as well as the execution of the construction project.

At the edge of the village Mariou, in South Crete – Rethymno, we have built a charming holiday villa for one of our clients.
Simple Greek architecture, combining the minimal sense of the Cycladic houses with an exterior covered space made of stone , following the traditional Cretan architecture.
From the swimming pool at the exterior space, the user can swim and enjoy the amazing views of Damnoni and Plakias bays…

The modern design with clear volumes, large openings, which allow beneficial exposure to sunlight, and the application of traditional styles, such as colored embossed coatings, were some of the options of architectural design. The goal is to create a modern building structure that will harmonize with the natural landscape.
Five of the houses (Plan A) include a kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, while the sixth (Plan B) consists of a single space, where the kitchen and living room are locating, two more spacious bedrooms, a bathroom and a basement. Each house has a swimming pool and a private courtyard veranda from which guests can enjoy the view.

The Villa is structured on three levels.
Οn the Basement there is a private parking area, with a big
storage area. The entrance is only from outside and there
is no internal connection to the house.
Οn the Ground Floor there are an open-plan kitchen, with
the dining and sitting area, two bedrooms with en-suite
bathrooms, a wc and storage rooms.
Οn the First Floor there is the master bedroom with ensuite
bathroom, closet and a wardrobe area.
The external area is a spacious terrace, with swimming
pool, jacuzzi and a pergola.
The access to the villa is from the western side of the land,
straight to the house or alternatively to the basement.
